Use family member eligibility?

Does any know if sprint allows you to use a family members discount (ie 22 month eligibility status) on different lines? Because my dad is eligible tomorrow and I am not until next november. And there is no way in Hell that I am waiting till then.

Anyone have any luck in any manuevers like this at BB, RS, or sprint stores?

Also, seeing that the epic is a premium phone, do you think that is going to matter?

sprint will make you keep the phone active on the line you are using the upgrade on for 30 days. then you can switch it over to any other line on your account. this is all for the rebate. if you don't want the rebate then you can switch it when ever you want, but the phone will have to be activated on that line first.

if you go to radio shack or best buy, there is no rebate and they can use the upgrade from another line on your account and activated it on your line. they will actually activate it on the upgrade line first, but then switch it over for you.

i have 5 lines on my account and i am the only one who cares about the phones. plus i'm the one who pays for them, so i get 5 upgrades every 2 years. i do not buy from sprint stores anymore.
