Hello everybody,
I have an HTC Droid Incredible (AMOLED), and got the November Update for my phone about a week and a half ago. My phone is not rooted, and I was planning on rooting my phone with Unrevoked, but now I can't, since the latest update patches whatever Unrevoked used to root phones. So, since there hasn't been an update to Unrevoked, and it's been a while since the update has started rolling out, I am thinking about downgrading my device. However, I think you have to be rooted to do the normal downgrade procedure, so I am wondering if it is at all possible to download the Froyo RUU, and use it to downgrade my phone back to the Froyo (August/September?) update. Would using an RUU to downgrade my phone actually work? Would I lose all of the data on my phone in doing so? Lastly, is there any possible way to back up all of the data on my phone, so that I won't have to reinstall anything? Thanks.
