I recently switched from BB Private to Note 9. I was able to use my Micro SD card as a USB storage drive. I could copy files to/from my Priv to any PC. Can this be done on the Note 9? I can't find settings to do this. Any help appreciated.

A PC needs Windows 10 to have drivers.
You can use USB-C cable and if your PC or Mac also has USBC ( USBC <=> USBC )

Also an external USBC thumb drive works or SDXC adapter to plug into your Note.

Hub or dock with USBC and use Note in DeX mode. Needs work and even SD845 is challenged running 2 in 1 tablet/laptop mode. The 850 and especially the SD1000 are trying to address that.

Your BB Priv was a SD825 and your SD card has had almost 2-3 years of use. Consider it a backup and transfer over to something like SanDisk Extreme Pro.

When you connect the phone to your PC via USB, swipe down the notification panel and tap the USB icon. Make sure it's set to MTP (or File Transfer). The phone's internal storage as well as its SD card should show up in Windows Explorer.

I purchased a new card for my new Note I and it is a SanDisk 120 gb. Just can't figure out how to use it. I see it in my file manager. Going to try that to copy files over. Blackberry was more straight forward I think.

This is the info I was looking for thanks.
