Use of Dubai SIM in Indian phone

[Android Central Question]

A month back I bought Samsung Galaxy J8 in India how used Jio SIM. Now I am in Dubai & when I tried Dubai SIM in the same phone, it is not working. Can you suggest how to overcome this problem? The packing says first SIM should be Indian

Welcome to Android Central! What's the exact model number of the phone, and which carrier in Dubai are you using? You have to make sure the phone supports the network bands the carrier uses.

Also, are you certain the phone is carrier unlocked?
