Use of Goggle's Wear OS app instead of Samsung's Galaxy Wearable app

I'm trying to decide whether to link my Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 Classic to my Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G phone with Goggle's Wear OS app instead of Samsung's Galaxy Wearable app.

I'm currently using the Galaxy Wearable app.

Has anyone tried using Goggle's Wear OS app with Watch 6? Pros and cons? Any advice?

I don't think it is possible. Samsung partnered with Google to create a proprietary version of Wear OS. It's different from standard Wear OS and has to use the Wearable app to function altogether.
