Android Central Question
Is there a way to use the old ui on a Samsung Note 9? This new OneUI thing is awful, and I really want the old ui and old features back.
I have seen a few screen shots of Android 9 and the one thing I don't like is the placement of the time. Now its on the left hand side and they removed the am/pm indicator. Why?? Why would they do that? I know its a small petty thing but that bothers me, my inner OCD.

It is awful, childish logos look unprofessional.
I am no longer able to select an album to have as a flowing picture frame (my daughter). Now I must select each picture one by one to add to album. Where has select all gone????
Gallery is now just an awful Google clone.
Tabs now more spread left to right and a poor Apple mimic. Bring back top to bottom.
I wish I never took this downloaded. Truly awful.
I doubt if it's possible, but I would also move back to Oreo. Not only do I really hate the childish look, I completely disagree with the philosophy of moving everything toward the bottom of the screen. Everything looks uneven, and is actually harder to use one handed for me.
Follow the xda link in post #6 and start research, prior to a downgrade to Oreo.

for the people that went back to oreo , understand one thing your vulnerability because you dont have the latest security updates and if you block the update to pie wont experience future update refinements. But good luck
I know. It's why I am tolerating it and hoping that the Note 10 is going to fix the worst parts of the S10
