Used Link to Windows Today. My thoughts.

Yes but doesn't Dex just take the control from the PC? I want to be using a PC with access to my phone in a little screen in the corner - not the other way around!
By "control" do you mean using the computer's keyboard and mouse?

Yes. You control your phone using your computer's keyboard and mouse. The phone's RAM, CPU, and storage are all separate.

You are not understanding or I'm not properly getting my point across. I'll just experiment with it myself.

Nope, it will not take 'control'. If you're using this on a Note 10 AND a supported PC, now you can run DeX in a windowed mode inside your PC (just like mirroring the phone, but while running DeX). If you're using this just connected to the monitor/keyboard/mouse, then yes, DeX runs as a standalone on your phone.

Also, Flow DOES allow for phone mirroring (I thought it didn't, someone pointed it out in another thread, gave it another go and it worked... at least on the S10, haven't needed to try it on the Note 10).

Phone mirroring in flow works with the Note 10. I don't recommend it because it's clunky. Microsoft's Your Phone app works better for certain things like text messaging.

It is much easier and quicker to just plug in my phone via USB to transfer files. I've always found phone mirroring apps like Flow, Sidesync, and even Your Phone to be a solutions in search of a problem.

DeX, which is not REALLY phone mirroring in my opinion, is a neat option; but again, not something I use regularly.

Another new feature being pushed out in the Your Phone app. If you have a Surface device, you can now use your Surface Pen to draw on your screen and send it to your phone.

I just used it on my phone. I was able to use OneNote and Samsung Notes. I created a new note in both and was able to write on my Phone's screen.

Pretty handy if you have a Surface device. Now, my next question is; will this work on ANY touch screen Windows device, or non-touch screen devices, but have a drawing pad (i.e. Intous type) connected?
