Do you mean setting up a password on the unit? That one thing that can be done.

thank you all. i meant, if it could be locked as in getting a phone that cannot be used due to sim card blocked or similar... but im ok now.. thanks!

Not aware of that being possible unless they root it, do something stupid, and completely brick the device. It's always good to be cautious when buying used.
