Question Used phone with 1 TB storage purely to use as music player.

I bought a tablet with enough storage but it's kind of a chore to lug around. My Samsung 24 only has 512GB. It occurred to me that a used phone with enough storage might fit the bill. On eBay I see cheap phones with brands like Rino, Umidgi, i15Promax. Those any good? Am I going to run into trouble if I can't update the phone via WiFi, too?

There's a slightly pricier Samsung Galaxy S Vibrant, too.

Welcome to Android Central forums. Perhaps you're looking at this from too narrow an angle. Why would it have to be a phone? If your only goal is to listen to music there are digital music players with high capacity that are smaller than a phone, battery last longer than a phone, are more durable, have connections for ear buds, headphones, wired, wireless... I could go on and on. If you're not going to use it as a phone why get a phone. You mentioned lugging around a giant tablet, did I mention that they are smaller too? Oh and cost, a fraction of a phone, even for high capacity. You're thinking but what about a screen, some of them even have screens, not phone quality, but enough to watch a pre-downloaded video or movie.

Just my 2 cents.
