Useful Features

You know what dude, me too! Even though looks are subjective I I feel love my 3XL. Think it looks good and if so useful and functional and reliable and fast and smooth!

Same...and I have a 2XL. Friends ask "when are you replacing that 2+ year old device?" I reply "why, it still works so well"

Oh, here, absolutely! I completely agree. My 3XL is wonderful. Like I said everything is fast and fluid and smooth just like every other pixel is.

Agree with all of the above! Absolutely no interest in upgrading from my Google Fi Pixel 3XL.

yea my friend is just replacing his 2xl because the screen is cracked otherwise he would keep using it for another year. I have a 4xl and if the rumors are true I will either be sticking with it an extra year or switch to an iPhone (or which is weird for me to even type) just because the of the fact that those are probably the best at adding new things over software over time (but with 'high' end hardware)

Wicked fast assistant and speech recognition, ultra secure (maybe the MOST secure over all considering fully encrypted backups and day 1 security updates) phone, top notch camera. Plus call screen. Goddamn I love my Pixel 4XL. My only complaint is that the battery lasts me through a day but that is it. Only 20% usually left in the tank when I plug it in at night.

I've sadly just gotten used to having chargers everywhere after the 3xl to curb that from happening.

I have a pixel 3, I actually love the minimalist design of the pixel, I never thought a phone has to be a trophy, I love the minimalist software, timely updates, the phone always gets New features,
Then there's screen call, active edge, swipe fingerprint for notifications, flip to shhh, and mostly the camera! It's superb!

I agree completely Love everything about it.

Camera and no bloatware. But mostly the camera. Truly disappointed with the lack of ultra wide lens in the pixel 4. Main reason I am still on the pixel 3 XL. I want to see more than 12MP and ultra wide on the pixel 5.

The camera, especially at the price for my 3a XL, is the best bang for buck by miles. The battery life is no slouch either. Plus I like getting first dibs at the new Google feature updates.

It's an extra cost, but you could try Moment's wide angle lens. It requires using their case as well (which is high quality). I have the 2x zoom lens, which works well.

See, this is exactly why people love pixel phones. we all know they might not be the most beautiful phones which is still subjective, but damn they're useful.

Pity Call Screening is only useful to a small corner of the world's Pixel users in North America. Everywhere else it doesn't exist.
And for every useful feature they have there's a useful feature missing. Still no One Handed Mode in 2020 is just plain criminal

I've went for the 2xl to the 4xl. I love it!

The biggest feature I live is the swipe up from the bottom to bring up the open apps. It's so much more fluid and natural.

Next is the swipe in from the left in an app to go back.

My work phone is a Samsung a20 and I keep going back to these features and need to pause a moment to realize I gotta tap a button again. It feels so untuitive now. Even after years of using them.

I couldn't agree more so with you! The swipe gestures that Google implemented are very nice. Yeah, once you get used to it there's no going back.

I totally LOVED the rear fingerprint scanner on my original XL and I miss it TREMENDOUSLY. I have a 4XL now and I do like the "squeeze" function. It works much better than saying "hey Google "
