so, I have 2 SD cards. I was going to put CM7 on one with all of my apps, and Harmonia on my other with all of my apps and change the SD card when I want to change ROMs... would that work? I'm thinking no...

umm, if you're talking about nandroids u don't need two, if you're talking about the xda thread proof of concept, I don't see why not.

I don't really know what the xda thread proof of concept is.... but I was just thinking along these lines:
The phone: being a Game Console
The 2 SD cards: the cartridges for the game console
One SD card holding Harmonia, the other holding some other ROM

Yeah, like watsky said, no.

The ROM is on internal memory.

Nice idea though.

it's kind of possible, with class 6 or class 10 sd cards, but I never finished making the process usable for the average person who isn't seriously into programming and modding.
there aren't very many threads I started on xda, but the proof-of-concept boot from sd thread I think you you might be talking about is one I started. you can search my xda stats for started threads if you want the basic how-to.
it wasn't worth my time to make something plug-and-play that anyone could just flash and use. i'm far too broke to dev for free unless it's for personal use. I don't grudge a little time here and there to help people out, but the multiboot is a fairly big project.
