Using a case on the Turbo 2?

Are you guys using a case or not?

I am considering getting one (I liked the Tech21 case on my turbo 1 and they made a case for the turbo 2), but I'm on the fence about it since this phone is bigger than the turbo 1. Would appreciate anyone's feedback. Thanks

Certainly. I have the Verizon Shell Holster combo case and a Tech 21 that I switch back and forth depending on what I'm up to.

I like having a case just for the extra grip. Without the case, I felt like I had to handle the phone extremely delicately.

I agree with you regarding the power button being difficult to engage with the tech 21, but I don't have to use it much. Otherwise, it is a good grippy case. The Verizon Shell Holster combo case has easy access to the power and volume buttons, little bulk, kick stand, and the holster options.

For me that was a plus not a minus. A lot of the other cases allowed the buttons to be pushed in my pocket and the tech21 case keeps the buttons from accidentally getting pushed.

Thats just me though, and my experience.

I got the incipio case from Verizon and like it a lot. I originally bought an 8.00 case from Amazon but you get what you pay for. The cut weren't straight and it felt loose. The incipio is a dual layer but adds very little bulk. It does show fingerprints though. So for a wrap up, I have the flexible glass screen protector and the incipio case and am very happy.

On all my other Droids (3, 4, & Maxx) I went with the Verizon holster combo, mostly for the kickstand. For the DT2 I went with a clear case, the Pleson Droid Turbo 2 Clear Case. 8 bucks at Amazon and shows off my Moto Maker design nicely. I've only had it on for a few hours, but so far I like the feel of it in my hand. I'll report back if my opinion changes.

I got the caseformers case from Amazon. Has a kick stand and belt clip. It was 7.99. Its okay but still kind of slick. I really like having a belt clip but finding a case with good grip and belt clip has been harder than I expected. Don't need the otterbox protection this time but I love those cases for grip.

I have a life proof on mine. Compared to an otter box i like it. Only complaint would be opening the charger port but i use wireless charging mostly so its not much of an issue

I've got the Tech 21 & Cruzerlite Bugdroid...still deciding between them. I like the phone without a case, but it's a little too big for my hands and I want to be able to use it with one hand without being too worried. Both of these cases are very easily removed, so it's nice to have.

They both have grippy edges and make it easier for me to hold and operate with one hand.
Cruzerlite has a slimmer profile, with cutouts for the power & volume buttons.
Tech 21 is thicker, there's an extra piece inside the edge to absorb more shock if you drop it, so it adds some bulk to the phone. As others have mentioned the power & volume buttons are more difficult to press with Tech 21 because they are covered with integrated buttons molded into the edge. I think that's something I'd get used to.

Currently leaning towards to the Cruzerlite. It was only $9 vs $30ish for Tech 21.
