Using a flash drive on the V10

Everyone,

I have always wanted to get one of these, and the other day, I got a USB-A to micro USB adapter off of Amazon (item B00BFYH11Q) for $3.99. I needed some more items on my shipment in order to get an "Add on Item". Anyway, it came yesterday and I plugged my flash drive in. Works like a charm! I even used it to transfer these photos to my desktop quickly and easily without having to worry about plugging my phone into my computer. See pictures.

I saw those too. I was more looking for something to supplement my LaCie Key Flash Drive. I've had that thing for two years on my key chain and it doesn't have a scratch on it!

Have you tried to copy files between the flash drive and internal memory? On my 6P this does not work (not rooted).

alot of people don't know about otg, I've used it for years (htc) and it's the fastest way to move files back and forth, it also is a great way to backup your phone as well. I use mine when traveling which the drive holds movies I stream and I'm not filling my internal storage.

On LG devices it works both ways without a problem!

Google took a lot of options away on this phone and this was one of them. They also removed MHL functionality as they want you to buy a chromecast instead. Things like this is what killed the 6P for me.
