Using a replacement camera glass as screen protector?

Anyone tried it? It has an adhesive, I would imagine you'd just put it on top of the camera. Was afraid it might distort the image on the wide angle camera. Seems like a cheap and good camera protector idea.

I'd be careful with that as the adhesive might either yellow over time or show up upon installation, along with any particles trapped between the glass.

You will lose light at the minimum. I would not do it. Better off putting a Dbrand on the lens
