Using a VZW S4 on Cricket GSM

My cricket phone is messed you and I've managed to find a S4 from Verizon for $25 however I've heard Verizon uses the SIM card for LTE data only... Would it still be possible to put my Cricket SIM card in the S4 and change the settings for it to connect to LTE and be able to use the SIM card for talk and text too?

No, Cricket needs GSM radios, Verizon uses CDMA radios - totally different electronics. All you'll get is a message that it can't connect to the network.

It actually worked til the phone got bricked trying to unroot it, I rooted the s4 to be able to change a number in the phone settings so texting would work over 3G and LTE worked fully
