Using Bluetooth without incoming calls being able to interrupt

Is there a way to have Bluetooth playing media while having all else turned off (ie: Do Not Disturb enabled, with media allowed in Exceptions) and to keep incoming calls from interrupting the media that's playing?

Apparently, Do Not Disturb will keep an incoming call from ringing the phone, but it still causes an interruption in the media that's playing, even if just for a second or two of silence where each ring would be.

I'm listening to meditation and hypnosis tracks, so those interruptions are disruptive and I'd really like to stop them from happening.

Airplane Mode isn't an option because that disables Bluetooth.

Thanks!

You can use Airplane mode with BT. You need to turn airplane mode on then turn on BT.

Check that out and let us know if you notice anything else.

That works! Thanks!

I don't suppose you know of a way to accomplish the same result without Airplane Mode, do you?

It occurred to me that I won't see missed calls with Airplane Mode (AFAIK they don't buffer), and for me and a lot of people I deal with personally and in business the fact that there was missed call is often the only method used for letting someone know you called them and that they should call you back.

I don't know since you say DND results in pauses. You can use WiFi in airplane mode too but I'm not sure how that affects wifi calling. I'm not sure if a call coming in via WiFi plus DND would still cause your issue. I know with airplane mode you get all your back notifications but do you also get missed call notifications?
