Using fingerprint ID for apps

Is there a way you can use the fingerprint security to open certain apps? I was able to do it with the Iphone and I don't want to go back to it. Thanks in advance.

What are 'certain apps'? More and more apps support the fingerprint reader - PayPal and 1Password, for example.

I know Bank of America's mobile banking app supports it. Paypal is supposed to but it's been broken for some time now.

A vote for FingerSecurity from the app store. I used it on my edge S6. It worked very well. You can pick which apps need the finger print option.
