Using Franco Kernal with AOKP

I use Franco's most recent milestone. I stay on wifi mostly when I'm at work and most days can only use 40% with a couple of calls and checking emails and texts. I've used lean kernel some but have had better results with franco. Every now and then it will drain randomly but for the most part I get a consistent full day and with some to spare.

Wanted to just share my favorite color settings for francos app. Love the blue and contrast these provide. Tweak and experiment at will of course :)

I applied the Color Multipliers and RGB values and really like the way my screen looks now! I'm on Milestone 3, so I don't have the option to change the OMAP 4 Gamma interface yet. What does that do?

Thought I'd share: since I have installed the latest nightly I have been getting above average (for me) battery life. I also changed one setting within the app "maximum frequency when screen off". Not sure if its related. Also i have had no decrease in performance that I can tell.

At the suggestion of someone over on Rootzwiki, I installed nightly version #8 - 3.0.16 - nightly 13.1 and I'm now back up to at least where I was stock. I got the badass monitor and the first day showed a bunch of kept unlockes or wake ups, mostly from Handcent. Next day, I think I'd flashed r160 and I didn't seem to be getting any one outlier, but where as I would usually get done with my 10h shift and be around 50% battery, I was down to 30% at 8h. For some reason talking on the phone was just killing the battery. With 13.1 I seem to be back where I started, which makes me wonder why I did it at all. Who knows, maybe its a little better than stock. Hard to tell I guess. We'll see how this one goes tomorrow at work.
