Using international SIM cards?

Can I pop in a foreign SIM with a MAXX HD from Verizon?

If no (by default) , can anything currently be done to "unlock" this capability.

Does anyone also know if any of the other cheaper available RAZRs also support this?

This phone is not locked for non-US SIMs! It only checks for non-Verizon US carriers, like AT&T. SIMs from international carriers work. I'm not sure what the previous post is on about.
