Using Internet without WI-FI?

Hey guys when I'm not connected to Wi-Fi I can't even access Google's homepage, it won't load and no app can access the internet, even when I have great service, this is my 3rd Optimus V and I've never had this problem before on the other two, its an Older Optimus V and I currently am using the G.T.R rom but I have this problem even when on a stock rom, I can text and make calls but nothing other then that and its bugging me like crazy! My two younger brothers have the same Optimus V and never have a problem. Please help!!!!!
I love Pandora for when I go Skateboarding! But sadly can't use it without the Wi-Fi any ideas guys?? Oh would the ZV9 update help? Or is it worth it? If so can I use the JellyBean port on ZV9?

I think I might know but not sure. When I check my brothers optimus V's their baseband says ZV4, mine always says unknown. How do I fix this?!?!

But on Backside IHO it says ZV5, confusing still cant access internet though, will flash a ZV9 Update for the hell of it and see what that does for me!!!!

Just say that they need to reset your plan and that its happened before... that always gets mine back on and you get FREE month of service

Yeah just flash a froyo Rom and run the activation app...

Our you can do that after running the zv9 update before restoring your current Rom.

There is a file that tells the system which baseband to display. Even if your on zv4 it will say zv5. There has been a fix for it but Jerry didn't include it since he went mia I think.
