Android Central Question

Im looking upgrading from an s5 to an lgv20 but im worried that its going to be a pain with the power button on that back when laying down or in a holder is there away around it or should i look for a different phone thanks

You can double tap the screen to wake it up, then enter your PIN/password. The power button is also the fingerprint scanner, which is why you wouldn't be able to log in that way. You'll have to create a PIN or password anyway to set up fingerprint reading in case the scanner is unable to read correctly.

No need to worry, you just double tap the screen and the screen will turn on or off. This is called LG knock and you'll find yourself using this feature way more than the back power button. If you are inside an app, you can double tap the top notification bar and it'll turn off the screen.

FYI the V20 is one of the last NON bezelless phone.. the bottom bezel allows your thumb to rest there, thus making it possible and easier to hold with one hand and the thumb resting on the bottom bezel. On the Galaxy S5, the bottom bezel real estate is taken up by the physical home button and touch keys.
