Is it possible to use the Fascinate on another cdma network, virgin mobile in particular? a

Unfortunately more than likely not. I'm not sure about Virgin Mobile, but I know Sprint has gotten incredibly stricter about not allowing VZW devices on it's network.

You can get the device unlocked, but even then you will not be able to take advantage of 3G.
