Using only a usb cable to watch movies from your phone on my tv

I have 6 movies on my sd memory card. I want to be able to watch watch those stored movies on my tv screen. How can i do this with just the usb cable. The tv has a usb port but its not a smart tv. I have a Samsung galaxy prime express phone.

Welcome to Android Central! The phone would have to support MHL, and according to the official website, yours does not: https://www.mhltech.org/devices.aspx. You'll have to use something like Chromecast instead.
