Using Outlook as Mail Client On New Pixel XL Or Try Stock/Gmail App

Sorry to bring this thread back up, is Nine really worth the $10? Using Gmail for my exchange email is simply not an option as it does not function how I need it to in a business setting. Also tried Outlook and while the app itself is pretty good the fact that you cannot change sync settings and how and when emails push is a deal breaker. Why in the world would Microsoft omit these features, especially for the business aspect, I do not want me work emails pushing immediately after 5PM and or on the weekend.

I actually like HTC's mail app as well (coming from an HTC M9) however you cannot seem to install that on the Pixel for some reason.

To put it simply, if you rely on exchange email for work, then yes Nine is 110% worth the $10. It is by far the best Exchange email app I have found. I switched when it first came out and have never had a problem with it. The ability to secure the app with exchange policies vs the entire phone is a must for me and, while I know a number of apps have added that, Nine has always just worked. The dev keeps the app updated regularly and as of a few months ago has added a full calendar with schedule assistant (for exchange/office365 systems that support it) that can be synced with the phone calendar or used separately. It honestly is the best Exchange app out there. Unfortunately it only support exchange/office365 so you're not going to be running your Yahoo/gmail/etc accounts through it for an all-on-one email app. I personally prefer it that way myself, but other might not.

BlackBerry Hub does everything nine can do but can also work with pop3, IMAP and personal exchange. Ive owned all the big apps out there and Hub is definitely the best. To me...

I use BlackBerry Hub also. The best part is that when you pay the 99 cents/month for the hub app, you also get Password Keeper which is pretty great too (especially with how easy the fingerprint reader on the Pixel XL is to use).

I have a related question about outlook on the pixel. I am using it to connect to my personal outlook.com account and a separate gmail account. Under "all accounts" when I go to the archive I can see a bunch of email threads there from both accounts, but I never moved any emails to be archived in the first place. Worried that I accidentally archived a bunch of email I went into the individual outlook account in the outlook app and looked in the archive folder, but it says there's no emails there. If I go online to outlook.com and/or check my outlook 2016 on my pc there's nothing in the archive folder either. Under the individual gmail account, there an archive folder doesn't even exist... I've just been ignoring it for no because it doesn't actually seem to affect my emails, is this just a bug? Have others experienced this? I even tried deleting the accounts, uninstalling the app, then reinstalling the app and it comes back the same. I didn't uninstall and restart, then reinstall so maybe I need to try that.
