Using QuickPic Instead of Gallery

Hi, I recently purchased the Galaxy S9, got it all set up and ran into one issue.
I cannot set Quickpic as my default app for pictures.
Gallery is not set as default.
Every time I try to set Quickpic, I am given the Files app which, for some reason is disabled and I cannot enable.
Any ideas? Thanks, Marie

Go to Settings>Apps, select QuickPic, then Defaults, and see if you can set it as a default there.

My personal opinion is that there are better gallery apps to use. QuickPic used to be good, but then Cheetah Mobile bought them (the makers of that terrible Clean Master), and proceeded to add all sorts of annoyances like ads to it. I'd suggest using Francisco Franco's Focus gallery app instead.

Thanks for responding. I also tried that, with no success. I will look at the Focus app you mentioned. Marie
