Using Runkeeper with the Galaxy Gear problem

I used the galaxy gear with runkeeper during my run for the first time yesterday morning. I had a few issues while using it. I got it started at the beginning of my 8 mile run, the first couple of time I checked on my stats during my run I had to scroll through the menu to app and select runkeeper, since it would not keep it active at the first screen when to activate the gear screen to come on. After a couple of times doing that I finally had the runkeeper stat screen when to hit the home button on the gear to check you status. Then it froze. The galaxy gear froze at mile 3 mile and would not reconnect to the Note 3 even after restart the gear. It least the Note 3 keep the data live with runkeeper on the note 3, but it would not re-connect to the gear until I stop runkeeper on the Note 3 and restarted both. I will attempt to use it again on my next run to see if it freezes again. This is the main reason I got the gear it to control runkeeper so I can have the phone sealed up and put but have access to start and stop runkeeper.

I have the same problem. I have set the power button double click to start runkeeper. It doesn't work sometimes after a few miles. The app won't let me in on the phone either. The phone side of it still works fine.

Same here, finding it to be useless. It was the main reason I purchased the Gear. It freezes every time I used it. At first I thought it was cold but even at 55 degrees it does it.

Guys, try Map my run. It's really nice and works flawlessly.
