Using the new Gmail app with exchange for Work.

Im sure a bunch of you have starting using the new Gmail app for both work and regular gmail. I set it up to sync with my offices exchange server and everything has been working smoothly. Unless you have to search for an email. I am assuming the app is searching remotely because it takes FOREVER to search. Almost to the point where I just wont search on the phone. Its too painfully slow.

Have you all seen this? I might go back to my regular email app until Google addresses.
