I currently have a Xoom LTE with active service. I was wondering if I pulled the SIM from my Xoom and put it in my Sprint GN would I be able to use Verizon LTE on it?

Any thoughts or insights?

Note: Obviously once the Sprint GN comes out. I don't have it right now.

No, they won't be compatible.

Not likely. Verizon uses the 700 mhz frequency for lte and Sprint is planning on using 800 and 1900 mhz. Why not just buy the vzw gnex if you're planning on using verizon service?

and sprint did announce Monday the 9th that they would only be using their 1900mhz spectrum for LTE for the initial rollouts, at least until Lightsquared and Clear get their approvals in order.

Clear's 2.3-2.7GHz frequencies will pretty much be a lock for Sprint LTEage, and I think they just had a deal recently. Sprint also has 800MHz which they will be building LTE on for next year.
