I have a new HTC One X that comes with 3.18 stock as opposed to using an OTA update to get 3.18.

Will these instructions work for my phone?

If it's the AT&T model and it has the 3.18 4.1.1 jellybean software on it, it should work.

Type "fastboot erase cache" then try flashing the recovery (fastboot flash recovery "name of recovery.img"

Wow, that got Recovery working again. Thank you! Only issue I'm running into now is when I go to mount my card through recovery my computer says it needs to be formatted first. Is this safe to do?

I'm afraid to format it for fear of losing TWRP again, or more... When I click it the screen shows it's 9.93 GB. My HOX+ has 64GB, or is the 9.93GB internal? Won't my internal have TWRP on it?

Twrp is stored in a different area of your phone. I guess to you could try to format it. You made it this far atleast. I'm not sure what it will format it to... Probably fat32 or ext3...

Is this when you are trying to run motochopper? Put it on your desktop

Double clicked moto.bat in the folder and now is working Well the phone shut down completely and after waiting 5 minutes I manually powered it back on.

Im going to have to wait until the internet starts working here some reason the technician cant keep our home internet on.. Ive been having to usb tether to get internet on my pc. I wont be able to do this with the phone tethered.

You were, of course, absolutely correct. I've tried all that I can think of on my end, but when I try and install my zip, it says unable to mount cache...

This is what I keep running into after an attempted zip flash. And Sideload won't even begin to work.

Yes sir. Not sure how to resolve being unable to mount /cache.
