Well Wizzrah..I did it....Being a Guy who knows Not 1 Thing about cell phones my HTC One X AT&T is fully rooted with S-Off...

Now I rebooted it and I get a Screen with Team Win Recovery Project...It Has 8 Windows that say different things ..Install..wipe..ect ect

what happens if i press install...will it install a ROM...

If you flash custom rom, Vipe rom is awesome. Im running it with beastmode kernel. Phone runs better that ever!!

Make a backup first so you have something to fall back up. Make sure you have the ROM in your phone's internal storage. Go to wipe. Just factory reset. Go to install. Swipe down until you see the zip folder of the ROM you are going to flash. Select and swipe to confirm flash. Reboot.

Lol. I did that first thing. Still closing. Before I got the framework error, now I get nothing. I also tried running as admin.

Is there a Thread to help Newbies Install new Roms after Rooting ...SO I DONT bother you in this Thread anymore...

Like what is VIPE Rom and Beastmode Kernel...

Sorry, I was away for a little bit. You can get these roms from the fantastic developers over on XDA.

Here is the Original Android Development section for the AT&T One X: One X Original Android Development - xda-developers

Here is the Android Development section for the AT&T One X: One X Android Development - xda-developers

The android development section has all the Sense 5 roms whereas the Original Android development section has all 4.3-4.4 roms.

If you want to flash a 4.4 rom, you will need this recovery: [unofficial] [recovery]twrp-2.6.3.0 4.4 compatible - xda-developers

Here is the rom I am running: [ROM][AOSP][EVITA][KK][cfX-Toolchain LLVM Clang 3.5] HTC ONE XL codefireX Nightlies - xda-developers

Here is ViperXL: [ROM][SEP 22] Team Venom ViperXL 4.2.0 | Sense 5 | Venom Tweaks | OTA Updates - xda-developers

Look at all the roms! There are so many to choose from...

Please make a backup before flashing anything.

Q: And ..What is Beastmode Kernel...?

It is a custom kernel that allows you to gain full control of the CPU on the One X. It is only compatible with Sense 5 roms.

But Wizzrah one thing I did want to mention about the Tool Kit....

The very last Operation where the Little Black box is supposed to show...ASK ME AGAIN NEXT TIME....GRANT....DENY..

I Never got it to show up on my Phone....But the Picture below it that shows CID 111111111.... S-OFF.......ECT ECT ECT
Is exactly like it shows on my Phone So Iam guessing it is right

Check in app drawer for superuser icon the toast icon is to grant superuser access. This confirming root.

The box doesn't show up all the time. As long as you have S-OFF, you are good to go.

No Wizzrah Never had a Problem.....I Lost Sound But it mysteriously Reappeared.....

2 Problems I just found today...I cant Sync to My Google Account..AND ..Everytime I restart My phone I Lose everything and Have to start all over...

But Iam Hoping when I get a New ROM That will go away.....SO How does one load a ROM When you find one you like...?

Did you flash the custom 4.4 recovery I told you about?

Download it from here: [unofficial] [recovery]twrp-2.6.3.0 4.4 compatible - xda-developers

Put it on your desktop

Open up the toolkit

Go to "Install a recovery"

Select "flash your own recovery"

Navigate to the file

Select it. Let the toolkit do the rest.

Done.

It will look exactly the same.

Explanation: This recovery has something called "se-linux" enabled which allows you to flash 4.4 roms.

Whenever I run this, when I get to this part: C:\EZToolkit Cloud Evita\Bootloader\MotoChopper>adb shell "/data/local/tm p/xpwn"

[+] This may take a few minutes.

[+] Success!

I get a "failure" message every time. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong? I have the hboot 2.14.0000 and 3.18 firmware, adb and htc drivers installed.
