Re: AT&T One X Root, Boot unlock, S-off on the Jellybean 3.18 OTA Update

LOL, I just realized a typo in my toolkit. Step 3 and 4 say the same thing "Push SuperSU.zip" Hehe I forgot to change it. v3.0 coming out today...

Re: **now with pics/proof** root,bootloader unlock,s-off at&t htc one x on 3.18 update!

Hello everyone! I'm happy to annouce Wizzrah's Evita Toolkit v3.0! It is a big change and hopefully it is a change for the better! I did a lot of code editing so if you find any typos, let me know! I updated the step by step procedure and made it as noob friendly as possible. Feel free to hit me up via email or the forums if you need help with anything! Comment on the new look as I love to hear feedback and constructive criticism! Enjoy!

Happy Holidays!

Re: **now with pics/proof** root,bootloader unlock,s-off at&t htc one x on 3.18 update!

Also if I may add on, I'm working on that kit kat rom as I type :) I can't wait! One thing I must say is that rom developing is tedious. I endanger my phone... I cry everytime I flash my test roms... I don't know if my phone will survive or not...

Re: AT&T One X Root, Boot unlock, S-off on the Jellybean 3.18 OTA Update

Wooo, Tough week but I got good news!:

Wizzrah.com is back up (FINALLY)

I have finished the first successful build for my Android 4.4 kit kat rom. (It is still not ready for release.)

My toolkits are now DMCA protected.
What this means for you is that you are free to spread it around the interwebz but you can't take credit for it because that's not fair :(. I saw my work posted on some chinese website without my previous permission. WTH LOL

My toolkits are now on encrypted cloud storage servers provided by cubby.com for extra safety!

So much to come!
Happy Holidays!

Re: AT&T One X Root, Boot unlock, S-off on the Jellybean 3.18 OTA Update

Also another interesting fact!

My toolkit has been downloaded over 2,000 times! I'm glad everyone likes it \(^~^)/!

Re: AT&T One X Root, Boot unlock, S-off on the Jellybean 3.18 OTA Update

So i must be really stupid...how do i need to set up the phone to start running your toolkit? I keep getting "waiting for device"

I think i got it. I had to download the HTC One X drivers for windows 8.1 because windows would not recognize the device and therefore the toolkit would not work (it might maybe be useful to add that as a caveat on the instructions). I'll let you know if anything else pops up

No can do. Motochopper starts, My phone restarts in bootloader mode and then i get the below image and nothing else happens. I think the problem might be windows 8.1. My bootloader screen shows on the top Tampered and Locked but unfortunately windows 8.1 won't let me properly use my phone when its connected in bootloader mode. Can you help?Toolkit.png

First off, make sure USB debugging is on. Second, windows 8.1 has a known problem with fastboot mode.

What you can try is to install htc sync but then remove htc sync and just leave the drivers. Also make sure you are using a USB 2.0 port and not a 3.0 port.

I can also help you if you have team viewer. That way I can see what you are doing and maybe fix any errors.

I'll see if I can include the drivers in another update.

Re: AT&T One X Root, Boot unlock, S-off on the Jellybean 3.18 OTA Update

Thanks. yeah debugging is on. I'll try to run the toolkit on my mac mini since i still have win 8 (not 8.1) installed as a virtual machine

Yeah, try it on the virtual machine and if it still doesn't work, try it on the 8.1 machine again.

The phone should be booted up normally with usb debugging enabled.
If it is try cycling on and off on debugging a couple of times while phone is not connected to pc.if all else fails try reinstalling the phones drivers. And use a usb port on back of pc with an insulated cable or the one that came with the phone.
Then open cmd prompt on computer and copy and paste the directory with toolkit (it should be on desktop) then after path has changed on cmd prompt type. adb devices
If it returns HTC info your good.
Then close cmd prompt and run motochopper in toolkit

Re: AT&T One X Root, Boot unlock, S-off on the Jellybean 3.18 OTA Update

You might have to reinstall the drivers a couple of times. That was an issue that I encountered when using toolkit. But I was using an older version where I had to manually input commands in cmd prompt

Re: AT&T One X Root, Boot unlock, S-off on the Jellybean 3.18 OTA Update

I'll try again tomorrow. I have a win 7 machine at work i can use. I'll just have to see if my user rights allow me to run the toolkit
