V ports

Can someone port either the Codename Android, or the Xperia ICS rom from the optimus v? Maybe its just me, but they wont flash on my phone. It just like stops or something and says installation aborted. Those are two roms i really want to use

Take it a flash CWM recovery Or Xionia. CoT sometimes has problems flashing



And not porting, it works fine, just MMS and keys

I'll do a build of cna for the optimus s once I get the next ov update built and tested

That's what I've been seeing. It might be a Ice Cream Sandwich thing.

Is there like a generic "V to S" package out there in case you decide to flash a OV rom on the S? From what i've been seeing all that could potentially be messed up with a straight flash is the order of the hardware buttons and the MMS.

Seems like those two things could be fixed with a generic patch (much like the ZVD -> ZVJ)

The MMS.apk is different for every ROM so no it is not quite that simple.
