V20 for Google Pixel...

I've had some issues with my Pixel that I'm fed up with. Device is great but I'm done. I've been offered an LG V20 in trade but the device is an AT&T model. I'm a Verizon customer. The person that wants to trade, claims that the v20 will work on Verizon.

I don't really believe it, but confirm this for me. Whether truth or lie. I don't feel like wasting my time to meet a stranger for no reason.

When i googled "will a AT&T phone work on verizon", i read that you might be able to use the phone on verizon for data but might not be able to use it to make calls, text etc. Since AT&T is gsm and Verizon is cdma.

Even if it does work it's carrier locked to AT&T. You'll need to get it unlocked via 3rd party unless the person has already done so.

He plans to get it unlocked today. Whatever device won't fully work on Verizon I don't think it's worth it.

You can unlock through AT&T if the phone is paid off -- which in the case of you buying a phone it should be paid off.

@OP - As stated it will work but not the best. Not worth it IMO.

It will not hold a network signal at my house. Once I get a call. The signal drops. It's just Wi-Fi calling that allows me to use my device at home. I've never experienced ANY dropped calls on Verizon. It all started with the pixel.

I'm on board with my unlocked V20 in Titan. I had the Pixel XL 128gb black straight from the Google Store and returned it this week. I liked the XL (fast phone, great camera), but the 5.7" screen of the V20 won me over. I'm a sucker for a big screen. I thought I needed the LED light notifications (Light Flow app) on the XL, but turns out I am really liking the notification display on the V20. I also like the V20's sound toggle button that I relied on with my prior Samsungs. The V20 is fast, has a lot of features and gets the job done. No disrespect to the XL, but the V20 just does more for me, especially the larger screen.

Same. Just switched out my Pixel XL for the V20 at Verizon yesterday. Much happier. The Pixel XL was nice but too many connection issues. Plus, the phone is now updated to the latest security patch. That was surprising.
