I am getting one solely for the standby mode. In case my primary fails. You can get a NIB one for well under $200. $150 even. with the flood of new phones, much newer prettier phones its prices have hit rock-bottom.

It's the best value phone on the market.

If it were possible to get NIB V20 I would absolutely buy one. I'd love to turn it on in tmobile or Xfinity. Mine is VZW but wifi only now.

The other problem is finding legit batteries.

So, does it pay to put in a new battery on my old v20 which cost me $26, which I can return if I were to get a new phone, and I need to get a screen kit for about $48 so that is $74. Or, I spend 150 or maybe even a little less for one on eBay that's a brand new phone but can you trust them. I don't think so because my first v20 had a problem and it had a hairline scratch on the screen that I didn't see or I thought it was something in the tempered glass protector but it wasn't, it was actually in the the main screen because I took off the protector which shouldn't have been on a brand new phone, there were issues. I don't use it that much except at night when I listen to books and now I'm using it more to keep the battery life on my v40 otherwise I have to replace that battery. So just because they say it's brand-new don't believe them. I remember when I first got mine it looked pretty good except for this scratch but I didn't notice other than for some reason I thought they put on a protector and maybe that was it I was stupid I should have sent it right back. But I was just fed up with my Note 4 that the v20 replaced and it was quite a nice phone. You can also get a V60 on Amazon, not eBay, for 450 bucks that's a deal. If there's a problem Amazon will take it back in a heartbeat.
