Still on the V20!!! was contemplating the S8+ for a while for the larger display and slick design and the fact that I have a tendency to get excited whenever new gear arrives, but decided against it. Sticking with the V20 for now. Its still a great phone after over a half a year and I've grown accustomed to certain features like the second screen and the extra buttons I added to the navigation bar. I use the button that pulls down the notification menu and I use the one that lets you select an app to float on top of whatever is on the screen at the time. VERY useful!!! Especially the calendar! Just picked up a folio wallet case in black leather from Verizon the other day. Its a Case Mate I believe... $60 But I like it a lot!

I just pulled the trigger on the 6400mAh Hyperion battery and cover so I'm all in now. I am keeping this phone for my collection outside of any eventual bootloop or critical issues.

There's apk's of the OEM calculator from earlier LG G and V series phones floating around. You can side load one of them onto the V20 and get it added to the Q-slide options. I'm using the G3 version on mine because I use the calculator often and love this feature for it.

From the "low rent" LG Leon to the Lg 4 and now the awesome V20, I've had nothing but good luck with this brand. I'm with T-mobile and finally got a software update today. I can only hope it makes an already great piece of equipment better because I will be holding on to mine for a longtime. It may be the last of the battery swapping line of phones.

Haven't posted much because all questions have been answered and things are great. Loving it still. Very pleased. I'm pretty much off the bandwagon of the Samsung cult. My next phone is probably the LG V40. Maybe 50. We'll see. Maybe I'll weaken and it will be 30. But I'm too happy to upgrade at the moment or any time soon.

Look what came in the mail already. The guy just shipped it out yesterday! My only disappointment is that it can't be charged independently but I can't wait to try this out. The back plate has a nice soft touch to it as well.

I wonder if this will fit in a conventional charging cradle. Guess that's my next purchase. Yep it would be compatible. I just wouldn't be able to close the battery door part.

Ditched mine a week and a half ago for a Galaxy S8 Plus. No regrets so far, though I did really like the phone. I miss the second screen for its ability to toggle the flashlight, Bluetooth and WiFi without waking the phone. I really like the AOD on my S8 though and I've gotten used to the stupid placement of the FPS. I might consider going back to LG if the V30 is enticing. Only thing I didn't like about the V20 was the stuttering when playing music and choppy playback when streaming movies from my phone to my Smart TV. I was going to do a Factory Reset to try to clear that up but ended up getting a new phone before I had the chance to.
