Anybody make the switch, and if so, is the HiFi audio better?

Yes because you can now adjust it more finely and the volume increments are 1 not 5.

Yes, I did too weeks ago. the V30 is better in every way with the exception the second screen (which I loved) and lack of IR blaster (which I really miss). Audio settings are much more versatile as mentioned above (I prefer enhanced)

Awesome. I got the BOGO from T-Mobile today. I did notice the HiFi punched me in the face when I ticked it on. I almost cried listening to some Mozart lol

I got the same deal and gave the other phone to my wife. One thing about the HiFi DAC is that to me, you don't notice much of a difference between it and other phones unless you use high impedence ear phones. The sound may be a BIT clearer but with regular headphones but it isn't worth the hype until you connect something that actives the higher output. I'm now hearing stuff in songs I've never heard before. I stream Tidal HiFi (and now Master) exclusively.
