V20's Spotify can't control tracks Kenwood Head unit via Bluetooth

I can't seem to be able to skip and start tracks on Spotify using V20 to my Kenwood high-end Navigation stereo DNN992

Apple Music, Amazon Music and Google Music work fine.

Is it the phone hardware, the Kenwood or Spotify's software to blame?

I doubt have that radio but Spotify works just fine with my car stereo over Bluetooth

I have this issue with the unit in my car over Bluetooth. Can't skip tracks . Never had this issue before with other phones.(stock navigation unit in my Hyundai azera)
