v40 Screen

Very contrasty compared to the v20. Dark images and videos are hard to see.

Hmmm. I haven't had that issue. Is this on auto or with manual mode as well? What's your screen resolution set to? I have a V20 too and I always found that my V40 produced better results.

My V40 is set to auto brightness and often times it sets the brightness to zero. I will have to turn off auto brightness and turn up the screen brightness manually.
Try that and see if that resolves the issue. If so your not alone. LG needs to address this issue.
