Vaelpak 2.2 issues...

I switched from Warm twopointtwo (RLS2) till I figure out my battery issue. I wanted to see what all the fuss was about with Vaelpak 2.2 and all I can say is wow! Very customizable! Very different from stock which I love. BUT... I am having some force close issues, Quick Boot doesn't work at all even forces close Titanium Backup when trying to uninstall. Uninstalled/re-installed from Market but same problem. Is there a fix? I love this ROM!

Try Vaelpak's own site where he has a rapid reboot apk. I think it is open for anyone.

What type of battery issues are you having with myns rom?

were you using the battery tweak?

I dropped from 100% to 69% in just a few hours. I was using the tweak on (2) but ruining stock kernel. This was with minimal use. I can go all day with CM6 with normal/medium use.

do me a favor and download Terminal Emulator from the market.

ill post up what to do with it in a lil bit.

MAKE SURE YOUR PHONE ISNT CONNECTED TO THE CHARGER OR USB WHEN DOING THIS.

if you are using battery tweak and still having horrible battery life then go to market, download terminal emulator.

Open it, then type in SU to make sure it gets root access and put this in.

top -m 5 -n 1

and copy what it says and paste it for us, this will show us whats draining your battery...

im having some wierd thing show up using 31% of my cpu, killing my battery in the process, and its ALWAYS on, maybe you ppl with the horrible battery life are having this issue as well.

ksoftirqd/0 is the name of the cpu killer #1 in the list.

when the phone is on the charger the kosft is not using any cpu%, but when its off the charger its running full, as of right now off the charger its running 32% for me.
