Does anyone know if any of the OC kernels that we currently have can be used w/ the new VC update? if not are there any in the works? thx in advance.

I tried Xionia 7 and 8 (each with and without cache/dalvik wipe) and got a "low storage" warning each time running TR1.7. Before flashing the kernel I would have about 80mb free and after flashing I would have about 8mb free. So somehow either I am doing something wrong or the Xionia kernels don't play nice with ThundeROM.

For some reason (for me) the script to move cache/dalvik (or is it the other way around? lol) doesn't work when I flash Xionia over 1.7. Before I would have about 33 mb free in the cache partition and after flashing Xionia it shows 123 mb free.

Not sure how to fix this myself so I will have to just wait for the experts I guess to weigh in.

I'm seeing this same issue. Get a low space warning with TR 1.7 after flashing 007 via CWM recovery. With the stock TR 1.7 kernel, I still had ~97MB left... now 4. :( Any help would REALLY be appreciated.

If you read Zefie's VCrom OP he states not to flash any other kernel, that it has a custom initrd. ThundeRom 1.7 also states in the OP the rom is noy OC yet, I am guessing it has something to do with that. Give the big dogs some time to work out the kinks and they will release one. If you notice when they get quite on the forums something is about to be released :)

Zefie's VCrom, flash this on VC baseband to have OC until ThundeRom OC Kernel is released, or try pulling the initrd from Zefie's rom and pushing to ThundeRom with Zefie's 007 kernel. Probably easier to use the VCrom though :)
