Verizon and plan changes

Doesn't Verizon typically change plans fairly frequently? Seems like the more everything plan changed a few times. I'm curious if they may only offer the safety mode and rollover temporarily

It's very possible the current plans are temporary, but Verizon is good about letting you keep your current plan if you want. Even if it's no longer offered to new customers. Of you're concerned about signing up for a plan with roll over and safety mode and losing it on the next change up, I wouldn't be concerned.

Right now I have att postpaid and vz prepaid. My double data is about to expire so i may switch to Verizon postpaid. I'm happy with att postpaid so still unsure.

I've also debated on getting directv for the unlimited but haven't made the jump yet.

It is nice having options though

This doesn't seem like a promotional thing... Major plan changes are usually every year or so

Not trying to derail the thread, but after dealing with att customer service and evaluating the new Verizon plans I'll be a new vz postpaid customer today.

The att switch credit I didn't qualify for so that's one reason. FiOS gave me an offer to stay so I cancelled the order for DirecTV.

On top of that my employee discount is only a few dollars more for vz 2gb compared to att 300mb plan that never gave discount. Att said I needed to be on the $55 plan for a discount.

Either way Verizon is a no brainer in my case

That's awesome. I've been waiting for Verizon to come out with rollover for a while so I think it's time to convert my Verizon prepaid into postpaid and drop my at&t line.

They're updating their plans more frequently than in the past to stay competitive. They want to have their customers feel like they have more options than before (which they actually do now versus before).
