You would be surprised, I have been called names that you cant believe, im not a liberal or a conservative im a man that believes that our nation has been blessed with a abundance of good fortune, I am a Christian but cast no disparaging words towards any other religion, we are all creations of god no matter what religion you seek as you guiding light. Yes, you have to enable this option in navigation bar settings, then double tap the little dot to hide or show the navbar.

8/29 verizon update fixes facial recog
The Facial Recognition did not work since the first update (April?). The last update has repaired it. It works and it's fast.
Also, the nav bar background colors haven't changed (still can't select a clear one) but it seems that when the "hide" option is selected, it will be clear when you swipe up.

Verizon has been doing a fairly good job getting updates out. Not the first to push out updates, but being first is not always a good thing.

One of the updates was a car BT update.

That may have been the cause. Since it seems to be working now, I'd leave it be. If you have problems again, try unpairing and repairing your phone.
This morning it was crackly again. Changed a setting in the developer settings, and disconnected and reconnected and it was fine again. I'll see how it is when I go to leave work later.
It's called *disable absolute volume". Not sure what it really does. It sounded like it should on my way home from work. This evening.
It appears the auto brightness setting is borked after this update. If I manually adjust the slider, the auto feature won't re-enable. I then have to reset the setting. Anyone else experience this?
