Hey all,
Got my wife an iPhone 4S a while ago and she really doesn't like it too much. So I'm trying to convince her to let me sell the 4S and get her an Android phone because a lot of the complaints she has about the 4S's operating system are easily fixed with ICS/JB, especially if she lets me unlock and root the phone. Beyond the conversion of all her iTunes music to DRM free (easy to do) her big sticking point is the camera. She loves the camera on her iPhone and I've spent too much time complaining about the camera on my Galaxy Nexus for her to believe that she would like it.
My challenge is to find her a Verizon compatible phone that has a camera that is good, doesn't have to be as good as the 4S but has to be significantly better than the GNEX, that I can get used for about $350 which is what I anticipate being able to sell her gently used iPhone for. Solid battery life would be nice since I don't see her putting up with a bulky extended battery like I do with my GNEX.
Asking a lot, I know, but any recommendations? I think she'd love the Galaxy SIII, but that's a bit pricey at the moment.
