Is the free VZW Digital Secure worth keeping or should I delete it?

I've been with Verizon for years, personally don't use it.

I wonder if it actually slows down the phone and it it can really block an intrusion?

Does the built in VPN do anything productive?

I believe it installs apps that Verizon wants to shove down your throat without your knowledge.

I consider it Spyware.

Verizon App Manager is the app that install all the spam on your phone. They keep changing the name of it so next year it may be called something different
