Verizon Droid 2 w version 2.3.3

I was able to unlock my Droid Global 2 however the wifi remains a problem. No matter which tether program is used it goes directly to the Verizon warning page that wants me to pay twenty dollars a month. Is there a reasonable work around for this yet? If not how do I go back to Froyo? Is there a link someone can direct me to where I can do a one click back? Thanks
