Is anyone familiar with the early upgrade for iPhones on Verizon? It seems that Verizon only allows iPhone users to return and upgrade early if you’re going from an iPhone to a iPhone. However when I go through this process on the Verizon website or app, it allows me to add the S25 ultra to my cart doesn’t say anything about me having to completely pay off my iPhone in order to take advantage of the early upgrade. I have asked on Reddit in the r/verizon and people there have told me that it only applies when you go from one iPhone to another iPhone. Not from an iPhone to an android phone.
If this is the case, I’ll probably have to end up paying off the iPhone and selling it third party. It seems the market is saturated with people selling the 15PM on eBay and Swappa. So it might take a while to sell it or I’ll get less for it than I want.
The other option is I can go into a Verizon store and ask someone there. I have a bad feeling that they’re going to confirm what others have been telling me on Reddit.
I will definitely not be “upgrading” to another iPhone. I was just hoping to be able to get the S25 ultra or maybe the Pixel 10 pro xl through Verizon as the payments will be lower. I may just end up waiting until both the Pixel 10 and S26 models come out to make my final decision.
