Verizon Email Double My Data?

Hey guys! I just received an email from Verizon about doubling my data for the same price? I called the number and only gave out my cell #...I made him verify my address and last bill amount...seemed on the up and up...but just wondering if anyone else had got this offer? He said it was only being offered to a limited number of accounts and not made national.

I got that email today as well. Called and gave out my cell # and he also verified my address and when I checked my verizon online acct afterwards it had my updated (double) data limit, so it seems legit.
