Verizon g2 4g symbol won't go away

I'm on Wifi and I still have the 4g symbol in my system tray. I've disabled the caller ID which fixed this on previous phones. Still there. Any ideas?

I hope this gets fixed in a software update, assuming they consider it needs to be fixed.

I have a Droid Razr Maxx HD and 3G/4G still display when on wifi. I'm sure its normal operation.

It's normal. The S4 does this as well.
