Verizon. g3 annoying beep on call connect

My g3 started beeping 3 times every time I make a call. Hoping it's a setting anybody got any ideas?

Doesn't do it on Bluetooth just on direct dial

That sounds like the call connect alert (notification) that you can turn on/off with any Verizon phone. I am considering the G3, so I can't say how to turn it off (yet) but there must be a way. I would just check the settings, alerts area.

I hear it tho. (VZW) Have scoured the settings in the dialer and general, but cannot find an option to silence them.

Go into settings and look for phone or call. There is an option on most phones to have our beep when connected

Did you open the dialer. Then select settings, that's where it is on note 3

Try the voice privacy. I remember having an issue with it on my other phone and it was due to the voice privacy.

This is the same thing my brother has been asking me to figure out for him as well! Its a tone/bleep that happens when you make any outgoing call. Its been annoying the hell out of my brother, lol! Verizon has told my brother that there is nothing you can do for this unfortunately. With a Samsung device, you can disable the tone, the feature is called 'Call Connect Tone'. Hopefully Verizon can remedy this with the next update by offering the option to disable the tone.

1.Click on settings
2. Click on call
3.Click on call alerts
4.Under Call status tones uncheck Minute minder

And you should be good now.

My brother told me there is no 'call alerts' option on his device. Are you sure this is for Verizon G3? Is the option somewhere hidden perhaps??

Anybody know anything about why there is no option for custom text notification sounds for contacts??? Are they working on it???
