Verizon Galaxy Note 2: Ghost image at notification bar

So I have had the Note 2 for about 22 months now. I noticed a few days ago that at the notification bar, there is a line that seems to be a ghost image of it. I notice this when the bar has disappeared when in an app. Is this normal? Are other people seeing ghost images also?

Not seeing that on my Note 2 (used for a little over two years but is now a backup to my Note 4). What you're seeing is probably burn in that can happen with AMOLED screens.

Yeah I figured so. Will this get any worse? I don't want to buy another phone if this still works. Lol

It may get worse, but if so would most likely just be a very slow progression. Not much that can be done about it other than may be reducing screen brightness (to slow any further burn in)..
